 Parent Testimonials  "The Life Changes Parenting Program" focuses on parent/teen community issues in and around the Kennedy Rec Center. Darnice provides housing tips, budget resources, mentoring advice and a plethora of information that will be helpful to parents and their families who are interested in developing a strong bond with themselves and others. She is very patient and allows you to ask valuable questions that really needs answering. "Since I’ve been attending "The Life Changes Parenting Program" with WrightVision, I can relate to parents learning about discipline, respect, and responsibility. The sessions allow parent participation in order to focus on relationship building, understanding your family, time management, and putting your priorities in order.
The session yesterday really made me see that I have a chronic issue with procrastination and putting off my long term goals. By writing down your daily tasks and responsibilities you can start a journal of what you have to do, how you are going to do it, and how long is it going to take. By visualizing on your dreams and future goals that is another way of preparing yourself for future endeavors. It is a remarkable experience and I would recommend more parents to come and attend. I really enjoyed the session on yesterday because time management is one of my biggest downfalls when it comes to being successful in my life. We all have important goals in Life in which we would like to achieve but like we discussed yesterday we can all be sidetracked with day to day living. I also learned that time management is a key role in our success, many of us tend to side bar our goals. These sessions are important in my Life because with all the negative issue going on around our daily lives, we need these sessions to keep us on track.
